Data & methodology

Funding rates are public perpetual-market data. This site re-pulls these public endpoints every 15 minutes:

“30d annualized” = average rate of the last 30 days of settlement records × settlements per year (computed from each exchange's actual settlement interval). All data is public and free.

Where the yield numbers come from

The methodology follows a full research pipeline over Binance BTCUSDT perpetuals, 2021-09 → 2026-08 (5,458 funding records): yearly distribution, negative-rate share (14.7%), longest negative streak (6 days), monthly timing backtests, leverage sensitivity (1x/2x/3x × borrow cost), and multi-coin dynamic switching backtests (no look-ahead, full trade costs). Result: +7.4%/yr at 1x unlevered; up to +16% at 3x with low-cost borrowing; monthly peaks reached +37% annualized (2024-03).

Disclaimer

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer. The site only aggregates public data and explains concepts.
Crypto trading carries extreme risk: leverage can wipe out your full capital; yields are not guaranteed; historical performance does not predict future results.
Any decision made based on this content is entirely at your own risk.

Compliance notes

1. Crypto legislation varies heavily by jurisdiction (mainland China has banned trading; the EU/US/Japan/HK each have their own regimes).
2. Check whether futures/perp trading and crypto yield strategies are permitted where you reside, and account for tax treatment.
3. Know your exchange: asymmetric custody risk (FTX), and only ever deposit what you can afford to lose.
4. Where crypto exposure is restricted in your jurisdiction, consider regulated alternatives (e.g. spot BTC ETFs) — the carry concept itself is what matters.

Privacy & advertising

No accounts, no tracking of personal data. Standard server access logs are used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. Operating income comes from exchange referral commissions (if you sign up through our links we may earn a fee — yours never changes) and display ads (possibly served by third parties like Google AdSense, which may set cookies subject to their own privacy policies).
